QPR have never bought a player in this price bracket and probably never will. not on a fan base of 10.000!!
there are too many on here who want their cake and eat it too..
and before the old season ticket thing is thrown back.. season tickets have reduced this year and a carrott of reducing even more still can't drag the apathetic from the keyboards until messi , roanldo et all are wearing the blue and white hoops!!!!!

Why not take it slowly. We did almost "crashland" our recent season. Who do you guys think we are "Man URE or Chelski" Captain Fanplastic. Pardon my masculine outburst but, hey WE STILL HAVE OUR BELOVED QPR ALIVE AND KICKING , Without deduction points as well.
Just appointed new manager fairly liked all over, I think. A board which is here long term, and quite involved on a daily basis as well. What more can we really expect.
To add another "detail"; As all their billions actually arent ours, I will call "us" greedy when we "moan" at every single signing or freebuy over and over again.
The next man in could very well be Darren Ambrose, and he scored apprx. 20 goals last season. But how do we rate him? Excatly, we dont rate him at all. Not even before he is signed................
Bottomline: Support the club the next season. NOBODY can guarantee you a promotion on the spot, so to speak. Warnock said so, but that was aimed to create enthusiasm. It could also be his personal aim with the team, But those of us that have had some interest in following the game of fotball for more than a few years knows better.
Rome wasent built on one day. Im not sure but it could be that Blackpool is the only exception to that rule, who knows.

"Rome wasn't built in a day": any more cliches?
If the board came out and said they were aiming for incremental improvement, that we are a family club with more modest ambitions, aiming to build up through the youth team and shrewd signings from the lower leagues as we did in the old days, then I for one wd have no complaints. But you must see that there is a gaping chasm between the hype ("champions league"/ "I'm so excited about the summer" etc) and the signings SO FAR. Fully accept we might still get two or three decent players in that will transform the mood, but if some people are being negative without foundation others are being wildly optimistic based on nothing more and arguably even less.

im optimistic cos we have spent more so far than we have ever done before and the world cup hasnt even started yet.
we have best keeper here since spunky, a highly rated skilful winger and the most in form and high scoring player to join us ever i think.
is that wrong then, is that based on nothing?

Man utds owners reportedly 1.1 Billion in debt!! is this they way we really want to go?

But as has has been said ad nauseum, more than that we need a couple of decent forwards. Glad Warnock identifies that need. Just hope he is given the funds.
if he says ambrose wants to come here and its close, that means he will be here to me.
same as when he says there will be more signings and the board are behind him and letting him run the team all on his own. if they dont he will kick off and #### off imho.
thats why i reckon its a bright future, cos he aint no wall flower gonna put up with any crap.

You raise v gd points 3London and I agree with you on football finance. I'm just puzzled by our signings so far, that's all. Particularly Clarke. And before you say I expect Ronaldo, I don't. Last season I wanted whats-his-face from Leicester who went to Blackpool on a free. This close season I wd have liked Bogdanovic etc on a free. Still, in Neil we trust - for now...
