Right, responding to this Ian Holloway has already confirmed he is/was interested, but when he heard a deal with QPR was 'done', he decided against making an offer. Other clubs, including Wolves and Middlesborough have already made offers earlier in January, and I am certain will come back in again this SUmmer.

People will pay more now because if they don't they won't be getting him, which is the reason you will either miss out or pay more. No chance will CPFC2010 be selling Darren Ambrose for 750k, even if they do decide to sell at all. One did mention how for us to be a more financially stable club, we can't continue paying Ambrose 10k+, particularly if we lose him on a free, but by the same token we can't lose players of Ambrose's ability for 750k.

'Ambrose told Warnock he wanted to come to us.'

I presume you have arrived at this conclusion because of Neil saying 'Darren has his heart set on a move now.' For starters, this is not gospel truth. This is simply what Neil has said, whether you want to believe it or not is fine, but that is simply your belief, similar to an opinion, not too different from believing in God or not. Furthermore, considering Neil's 'commitment' to us at the start of administration, I find it hard to believe a word he has said and it is my belief that he is saying this to put the pressure on Ambrose. Moreso, considering CPFC2010 have said that Ambrose has told them he wants to stay, I would rather believe them than Neil.

However, you are entitled to draw whatever conclusion you would like, but I would hope you take this post into account. We will soon see anyway.

P.S. Whomever made up that thing on SSN saying Ambrose wants to leave, thats ########. Nothing has been on about that today.

Jams 1234 - My understanding was that the Ambrose deal had been agreed to enable the adminisrater to pay May's wages, this was put on hold to see if the cpfc2010 deal went through on June 3 which it did, the deal will not be finalised until mid july at the earliest.

My question to you is who the fook is paying May & June's wages? are cpfc stumping up the cash £1.5mill (based on the £750,000 for Ambrose would of paid May's wages as stated by the administrater)?

It seems to me that if they are not you are in poo street before you start

Is CPFC2010 the same group that stated as your great chairman Jorden put you up for sale they would letyou go into Addmin. Same group that took you to knife edge to buy that sh*t ground on the cheap and where willing to let you go to wall if they did not get the ground or would pull out if players where sold. Yea I would trust them. Get into your thick head that the only reason that they did not want the players sold was due to hey want the money and not the crediters. Trust me they well sell yoyr players has you need the money and also trust me they well get the cheap manager to just keep you up. How do I know this you only have to look at Watford to see your future. Young players, loans and players coming the of the playing days.

CPFC2010 have commenced funding the club and begun paying May's wages. The Ambrose sale was not solely agreed on the premise that it would pay wages for a month, but infact the premise that it would have commenced the liquidation process which would have followed CPFC2010 not agreeing a deal for the ground.

Maccatwo, my sincerest apologies but I try not to engage with illiterate *****s. It is bad for the soul.

Upping our bid for Ambrose imo is taking too big a chance on what is so far a one season performer, who performed last season under Warnocks guidence for which now he no longer has.

The understanding from Warnock is that Abrose agreed to join, and still wants to join, for prob a lot more wages and to continue working with warnock.

That statement towards one of our board members should result in a ban, and fooked off back to the palace shoits who inhabit the said board.

Mem: Still in school mate, and nah.

I'm not too sure if he still wants to join, but your guess is just as good as mine. Only he, Neil, and CPFC2010 know it, in all likeliness.

I'd imagine that might explain the delay?
So criminal. Those non-football creditors like the St John's Ambulance have to settle for a pittance whilst a few weeks later, the club miraculously finds £750k+ for a player.

Absolutely sickened that Palace and Pompey have not been forced to realise their assets (their playing staff) to pay debts BEFORE they come out of Admin - OK, Pompey went down, but what actual penalty have Palace suffered? 10 points meant jack all last season and they're just carrying on like nothing happened; Salisbury in the meantime have been demoted TWO divisions - how f'd is football???:yush::yush:

St John's Ambulance have been paid by the fans. However, I do see your point, and it is a fair one.

In the case of Ambrose I'm not bothered either way --- the only big positive for me would be linking a player again with a Manager who finally seemed to get the best out a player who was dissappearing fast.

What does amuse me is during Crystal Meths takeover the eaglets were all high and mighty saying how loyal Ambrose was going to be to them and he didn't want to leave.
Now there's new owners and it's all "if he goes it will be coz it's more greens involved innit"
Mmmmmmmmmm. I know how I'd feel if I was him.

If nothing else this will have totally unsettled him and as we all know, one of the worse players to have at your club is an unhappy player.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I have no doubt that if Darren wants to leave, he will be leaving. Whether he does or not still remains to be seen.

I think it's harsh to say that we have got off scot-free. As a club, 29 people have lost their jobs as a result of it and we very nearly got relegated. And scot-free for what, exactly? Spending beyond our means? I think you'll find that several clubs are doing this. We did not enter administration voluntarily.

And haha, right back at ya. When it looked like the Ambrose deal was going straight through, and wasn't dependent on another situation, most on here were overjoyed, a few hailing it as a magnificent signing, everyone was in approval and ecstatic. Now that it appears in the balance upon the move going through or not, some have turned'Id be happy if he comes but its not a big deal' or '750k was too high a price anyway'.
