I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Yep - played one first team game for us at Charlton in the early 80's. Then played about 1,000 games for Enfield in the Conference. Played against him once - he played in a team of Passport Office workers (with a few ringers) against a LT 55 Broadway team (with a few ringers inc. Kenny Sansom) - Pape played up front and scored a hat trick. Unplayable.
