I agree. Esepcially if we got injurys to key players, we would have to loan.

Wasn't aware there was a strategy, seems to me they are making it up as they go along.

Spoke to his dad, he said he's happy where he is. Apparently we were after him before but sounds like he doesnt like the setup down here with paladini ect.

We have routledge and just because jamal campbell ryce plays good against us, we all think he is Maradona?

Exactly my point on another thread. We see these players once or twice a season and make sweeping statements about them. How do people know that Campbell-Ryce isn't awful the other 44 matches of the season? When we come up against a poor player how do we know he isn't brilliant the rest of the season?

We shouldn't judge players on limited viewing.

Not me!!! I dont want him!! Wouldnt cut it in the prem, and sumtimes struggles at championship level.

IMO us signing Jamal Campbell Ryce is moving in the wrong direction.

We seem to be obsessed with midfield players and not the even the ones that we actually need. A decent holding midfielder capable of initiating attacks as well as breaking up play and a couple of decent strikers are whats needed. Not another winger

Just to add, injuries might mean a months loan for someone.

                        No long term loans

ie 6 months or 12 months

In order to pull this off and still get quality players in then money needs to be spent. No more picking up players from middling championship reserve teams.

Given this season's shenanigans, I felt this long lost thread could do with a timely bump...

A cheap shot at a number, not the originator, but still, comedy gold

                              Bump....
