Very much doubt one of the stingiest owners going (Ashley) would bid 3m for a player who'd be free in 6months. I also highly doubt 3m would be turned down by another of the stingiest chairman Bates

Like I say again-what on Earth makes you think that the new guys are nowhere near as loaded as Jordan was, when you don't even know who they are?

Yet again, Rangers screw up a deal. Why didn't we just get it all signed last week.

Gonna end up with more f**king ****! Mackie, Clarke and now Wright Phillips..........same old f**king Rangers!

            True.
If I was offered a choice between an in-form, 100% fit Buzsaky.. or Ambrose, I'd take Buzsaky anyday.

Last season, Ambrose was 100% fit and in-form, and Buzsaky was neither of those. It showed at times.
Buzsaky, Faurlin and Taarabt took Palace to school at Selhurst... and all 3 are better players than anything they have in midfield.
I'd be more p*ssed off if we lost Buzsaky, than if we failed to sign Ambrose.

Julian Speroni was their best player last season by a country mile. And they know it.

Ok, they're minted and if he's sold it will be for 2m plus. When he's sold for an undisclosed fee due to 'size of debt not being realised' we can both be happy.

The fact is, we are going to be linked with every man and his dog now that we have had our fans touting silly things like a £10m war chest. Papers read fans forums and make stories based on our lack of knowledge. Lazy journalism that is then turned into our fans falling for it.

Besides, even if we don't sogn Ambrose, it's not the end of the world. He's had one good season and all of a sudden he's the next Wayne Rooney. I'm still confident he'll sign and I will be happy if and when that happens, but for christs sake, he's not that great.

It's funny that last week when you were destined to sign Ambrose he was going to be the best signing QPR had made in years, and now it's looking less likely that he is joining you your now all suddenly saying he isn't that great!

Also, it makes me laugh that so many of you seem to know more about the members of our consortium than what we the Palace fans do. For starters we know the 2 main members of the consortium who have been dealing with the takeover are Steve Parish and Martin Long, between them there wealth is valued at around the £150-200 million mark, yes we know they are unlikely to splash out millions on players etc but they are going to run us properly and debt free, also there are believed to be wealthy silent investors too. So in response to one of the posters they certainly do have a lot more money than what Jordan and the big difference being is that there will be a boartd of members rather just a chairman on his own like Jordan was having to fund everything himself.

Also, to re-iterate, the new owners have stated they dont want the best players sold, i.e Ambrose, Speroni, and Danns, these players have also stated there desire and wish to stay with Palace aswell.

Fair one! To be honest they are not going to save your club and then say by the way we have to sell players! I think you may be suprised over the next couple of weeks if we dont buy any of your players Im sure some will be leaving so the consortium can get them off their high wage bill.

Still good that youre staying positive, and maybe speroni and ambrose will play for free just to help you guys out?
