To let all our members know that this new forum needs power to run and the current hosting company are unable to provide the power needed.
The problem I have is that I have paid just under £200 for 2 years service last year and now find out that we need to move again. When moving to the current provider I had no idea that I was going purchase a hungry forum that requires so much power.
There will still be issues with this forum if we stay with the current company and therefore have to change companies again and count my losses.
I tried to purchase the new server today but I had gone well into my overdraft so will have to wait until I get paid.
I've been thinking about providing a donations button once again to help fund the server & upgrades, it's not something everyone has to do but will be in place for those members who are will to help at this time so that we can speed things up and getting this website/forum working 100%.
If members can donate a small amount of .50p per month is not too much to ask and hope that it adds up. I am willing to continue to put extra money in if we don't reach our targets.
Once we manage to get advertising on board the donations button will be taken off and money generated will fund the site and extra money going towards QPR's Football In The Community.
I would like feedback from members if they are willing to help for a short time.
Thank you.
