imo my 7 would be: heskey, huddlestone, dawson, walcott, warnock, carrick, upson
For me...
Heskey/Bent (I'd prefer Bent to go)
Baines (Utterly pooh)
Walcott (No end product, 95% of the time...Oh, but he got a hat-trick)
Upson (Dawson, Terry, Rio and King are ALL better)
Huddlestone (Carrick (marginally), Barry, Gerrard and Parker can all play the possition better)
Carragher (Turn coat and too slow)
Wright-Phillips (Milner, Lennon, A.Johnston, J.Cole and Gerrard can all play RM to better effect)Last edited by BennyBoyRs; 01-06-2010, 02:12 PM.Your mum would love me...

And thats for sunderland. But obviously strikers who score goals arent what we need...I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I've never been a fan of Bents, but you can't argue his scoring record, wherever he goes.Your mum would love me...

Where have I argued that? Can you honestly say, other that Rooney that Bent's scoring record isn't of the best?Your mum would love me...

end of the day, you should have him in the squad, forget about rooney what if he got injured first game? heskey and defoe up front? ? no way, you'd want the most natural goalscorer who is Bent.
End of the day, Bent scores more goals than the others (not rooney obviously) so its ridiculous to leave him out the squad, heskey cant even get in the starting 11 for villa.

Benny I am not getting all 'high and mighty'.
Lets not resort to moaning, if you don't like the way I conduct myself on this messageboard then that is your opinion, however some people like a straight forward no nonsense approach.
Bent has had his chances and for England he has looked very poor.
Rooney and Bent is not a good combo and Heskey brings the best out of our only really decent striker in rooney, thats my opinion!I played sunday league football today.
