Some of you lot worry me. If this happened to us, it seems you'd be happy to sit at home and let it ride. Again, I hate Palace. I hate their fans as they are more f**king deluded and arrogant than ours, but at least they care about their club. Instead of talking about it, they are doing something. They turned out in numbers outside their ground and they are probably going to do better today.

Personally, I take my hats off to them. They are being heard, loud and clear and they won't go without a fight.

Putting my hatred to one side, I wish them all the best and hope thet sort this mess out.

Also, you get a very different perspective if, as in my case, the only Palace fans you know are primary aged school kids at my school, in floods of tears because they think they'll never see their team again.

Translate that to a school in West London where the children concerned are Rangers fans.

It could so, so, so easily have been us.
The majority of their fans are decent people just like us and will be hurting badly -- if you can't remember how much our dark times hurt, you can't have been around that long.
Are we really so lacking in empathy?
