The facts are (according to the Palace administrator on 5live earlier):
If the consortium buys Palace by three o'clock tomorrow then Ambrose will probably remain there.
If they don't then the administrator will have to start selling players to pay Palace's staff and creditors.
Some Palace players have agreed terms with other clubs should the take-over not go ahead.

Ambrose will come irrespective of what happens at Palace.
Though if the club have a stay of execution in terms of being still a football team it might take a couple of weeks to be confirmed.
Last I heard Palace players have still not been paidALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

From my understanding the fee for Ambrose will be used to pay towards the outstanding wage bill. The consortium have said they won't purchase if ANY of the players are sold.
But surely they can see that Ambrose is only ONE player (the fee got for him will help) and that if they can agree a takeover package than his sale alone would not be that important in the grand scheme of things.
