yeah thats it i think, good few years ago. traffic in was a nightmare cos of the m1.
think the geezer got pool balled in a sock on his way to the match.
he seemed quite proud of it tho, he stood stong and stood proud thru the whole ninety minutes. was making everyone else a bit quesy tho. he looked horrendous.

Got into the Kenilworth Road end towards the back and there were lots of rumours of the Migs ambushing one and twos in the Arndale, next thing is that guy came in. Like some one else said his face looked like the elephant man. After the game we went mental.

Have to agree with Leeds away 87.

Recollections include the policeman nearest me saying he couldnt guarantee our safety. C-MOB sitting next to me with most smiling and one of them taking photographs. Coins just being hurtled up from in front of us after they got over there own fences to get in the so called neutral areas. Outside there was hundreds just hanging around as well. On the coach home with a song being sung about the fact we lost but didnt care.

I had never and still havent seen a whole side sing and watch us and not the game with such hostility, though Cardiff away a few years later in a cup game was close.

It really was out of control that day at Leeds.

after our 'yoot' got a bit of a scattering outside maccie d's near elland rd after the 6-1 my goodself and about eight others got dogged out by some older sc lads and i really did expect a shoeing but after some initial postering n gesticualting and one swift windmill plod intervened moving the leeds lads on before we gave them a jolly good thrashing

for me the old den,was the worst place

as a west ham fan i agree.it was our hardest away day.the thing is when we played them they turn out in force like no other game and so do we i return.it becomes more like east london v south.it really is tribal and there is no other london derby like it for passion,hatred &atmosphere...they are special games.

millwall always was a dodgy place to visit.

Nothing has come close to Leeds away in the FA CUP 1987! There must have been 4,000 Leeds Service Crew trying to get over that fence! The QPR fans that choose to sit were annihilated!

i was in them wooden seats that day but was right on the end of the stand towards the corner flag and lucky enough the trouble didnt get that far along the stand.

Was Kevin from Feltham, now lives in Midlands .....saw him at first home game when I was home last year......it was a sock of pool balls, they did us outside a shithole back street pub.....amonia in fairy liquid bottles and blades....we did okay though !!

another dodgy place used to be grimsby,those guys hate londoners,im thinking of the last game of the season,in 1982-83
7 grimsby fans had been slashed when qpr had rioted in cleethorpes the night before the game ,so we had all these geezers with blue plaster on there faces,but what grimsby didnt know that was our main firm c mob hadnt even arrived.
the damage was done by the paddock firm,but c mob had rioted at a petrol station on the way up to grimsby,where three coaches had been waiting for them one man city and two she wed
so god only knows what would have happened if c mob ,had of been up there the night before.
the hatred between grimsby and qpr started when a qpr fan lost his eye at a home game,after that there was so much hate between the two clubs

I remember going to a 'friendly' at the old Den, me and a couple of mates sat in the stand and thought we were being incognito. We scored (John Byrne I think) but we didn't celebrate and then this docker turns round and snarls why do QPR always have a big blonde ponce up front next thing we knew the whole stand was turning on us, had to make a hasty exit only to be fronted by a load of kids outside. It was a very dangerous ground the old Den.

Grimsby in the League Cup in 92, when we won on penalties was a nightmare, there were only about 150 of us there and you literally had to fight your way out. The natives were very hostile that night.

yes kingo but it all goes back to the 83 qpr riot in cleethorpes seven geezers got stanley bladed,and c mob were not even there,lets be honest qpr fans can tear it up a bit themselves,currently rated the fifth toughest in london
they have done there shaire of nastyness,obviously not in the west ham league but every other london club have been shocked by qpr when they are in the mood,qpr have shocked tottenham,chelsea and what about the last millwall home game,.............ONE DAY WE ARE ALL GOING TO BE FREE.....
