I dont like pure negativity but i can understand people feeling underwelmed at times, mainly i think cos there worried were just gonna get excited for nothing again. BUT, this time i really belive in the new board and Neil Warnock to get it right...

Thought Derry was one of the poorest players on the pitch at Palace recently even the Palace fans slated him after. Looked a bit of a spent force however if we got the player of two or three years ago would not be a bad signing

Derry is a good signing.

He won't be a starter. But he's the sort of bloke you want around the place, like ainsworth was. It's a squad game and if he keeps the team spirit up away from matchdays it can only be a good thing.

What makes you so sure? Derry has leadership qualities which QPR have been lacking so desperatly in recent years. I dont see this in Mahon or Rowlands personally. I know he is not the most gifted of footballers but could turn out to be the most important all if he signs. Obviously Roy Keane feels the same.
