  • The club is clever regarding ST's

They are offering the early bird prices for the loyal fans who renew every season no matter what. This is why only the signings of clarke and mackie have been completed. However, when the early bird deadline finishes and prices rise, big name signings will come in, to encourage fans to pay the higher season ticket prices as they have to see the team suceed. THEREFORE MORE PROFIT

I agree. However, i dont actually think this is a bad thing. If you are loyal to Q.P.R and can afford a season ticket, then it should'nt matter who we sign. I am glad i have renewed and actually agree that people who will not buy untill QPR buy should pay the inflated price.

        What signings would?
If people are that dependant on who we buy.

i am of the same mould.. whoever is on the field i shall support..

i dont buy ST's purely because i cannot afford them and would lose money.

am i classed as a fake fan?

Southend went down, played crap, nearly went bust,no players,no good players left either and still renewed for nxt season as its easy for me and kid to get to and Mrs is happy as its not an all dayer like going to the Rs.

Club are responsible for spinning names, stories, having Warnock coming on QPR world saying how we have no budget but all signings will be discussed with Saksena and next year will be so exciting blah blah.
And we buy Clarke and Mackie.

If he/board came out and said
" Look we have wasted far too much money in the past, bought some poor and expensive mistakes, and we WILL no tbe doing this again. We will buy players who may mature under the guidance of NW"

rather than band around all this fake optimism, I would be fine with that.

They say one thing and do another.. That is not right to loyal fans such as myself who kept this club going though dark times, days away from folding.

im looking for value for money...ticket prices are one of the highest in CCC so i expect ambition and intent to be one of the highest also. Dont care about the early bird offer tbh or the 3 month interest free offer (im going to wait this year instead of blindly renewing then regretting it)
Just fed up being mugged off like the last few seasons
Also tbh didnt see much point in my ST last year as there was always whole rows of seasts available and plenty of matchday deals that negated any saving in getting one.

Thats pretty much how I see it.
The amount of £10 games last year was a joke.

Like I said , over inflated prices and no real ambition will lose you potential season ticket holders.

No win for the Club.Have to pay high wages to attract players. Not enough fans go as it is so to drop prices to much and they cant cover costs. Now if they drop alot and fill ground will it cover the costs like the higher tckt price helps to do now.No win.
