Simple as that. Every single one of us knows that up front is our weakest area by a long long way. I for one have been saying it for the last 4 years and its still stands today.

Without Simpson's goal's we'd have gone down and now he has gone.

Clarke will get max of 3 goals next season and Mackie less than 10.
we need the whole team to be productive and work hard accross all areas of the pitch

everyones forgetting the best players and neil warnocks most desirable targets mite not be available this window

neil might deal with what hes got and go for it in january

i think we shouldnt be negative just yet with regards to the signings

neils going to have the hoops playing with belif and unity next season we havent had that since holloway so i for one am intreeeged with who ever he buys

and i also think our team will be scoring plenty more goals next season too

Oh god, the "don't worry, there's always January" argument is being trotted out even earlier than normal this year...

no its not dont worry we still have january at all

warnock will work with the players we still have and i think there will be a few surprises with "our" own players

some players might well and truley turn it up a gear because they want to be at the club

i have every faith in neil warnock

        IN WARNOCK WE TRUST

With you all the way mate, although Clarke may surprise us.

The board in any guise have been promising us success for the past 3 seasons and still expect us to gamble up to £700 for a season ticket -the highest in the CCC and a good deal more expensive than a number of Prem.clubs.So far we've bagged 2 players on freebies from relegated sides - BIG DEAL !! With billionaire owners we should be looking at the likes of Lambert,Maynard,Hooper etc if we are serious about promotion.Beckford looks done and dusted but that's the level we should be considering. With £90m at stake for gaining promotion, and potential selling on profits, what are the board thinking about - it's a no brainer and extremely frustrating.

in fairness getting promoted doesn't bring you all that as profit because then you are just simply into another whole level of madness regarded inflated transfer fees/ wages for players etc. but am equally mystified why wealthy owners wd be bothered messing around in the championship when everyone knows football life is entirely irrelevant in this country now outside the premiership. unless they think its cleverer to get up without spending?

I can only think that it has something to do with how expensive it is to run the club and Amit hasn't been given a blank cheque from his father in law to spend.

              Again for argument sake:

Lets say the average player at the club is on £8k pw we have about 30 players on the books, which is £250k a week. £1m a month or £12m a year. Add the salaries of the manager, coaches, physio etc etc. How many staff is that? How many people are there on the payroll if you include press team, secretaries etc? How much money does the likes of the Chairman (both of them) and any directors take in salaries?

How much income do you and I and everyone else generate for the club? Shirt sales, club shop, hot dogs etc? Lets say everyone of our fans spend £600 on a ST plus an extra £5 a match at the groud that's £750 each a season. I'd imagine some spend a lot more (if you include away games, shirt sales) but I'd imagine of our 13,000 regular fans a lot would spend a lot less (i.e. the kids). But let's say it's an average of £750 that's when multiplied by 13,000 fans is less than £10m or less than the annual wage bill of the playing staff if £8k pw is a fair average.

How much does it cost to run this club? How much does Mittal have to put up each year just to break even?
