...until we sign 2 quality forwards.

Simple as that. Every single one of us knows that up front is our weakest area by a long long way. I for one have been saying it for the last 4 years and its still stands today.

Without Simpson's goal's we'd have gone down and now he has gone.

Clarke will get max of 3 goals next season and Mackie less than 10.

Well done mate let's all be negative!

Why didn't the club go under that would have been well cool
why did the richest family in the uk take control and go out and get axlroven manager
why are we trying to buy the most talented player since Bowles

god I'd much prefer to be bankrupt and rubbish

But can you disagree with King's basic point? If so, I'd be interested to know how.

The money we generate as supporters isn't enough to keep the club in the top half of this division with a London cost base.

We have no divine right to win anything or be challenging
flavio thought he knew what he was doing but his arrogance could have cost us dear but because of amit and co we live to fight another day and I'm loving it
amit has been in control since end of feb and immediately went out and got the first proven manager in a long time. Warnock has been at the helm since march we are not in June and some idiots are crying like girls, we have finally got it together off the pitch. Good foundations, good manager. Some of the stuff on here is disgracefull. What right do you have to criticise warnock and amit after less than 4 months working together.

I'd rather see what happens and have faith with proven successfull managers and businessmen

They can't as it impossible to disagree with. By focusing on the negative tone of the post rather than the content you are trying to convince yourself that there is not a problem.

Stats, performance, ridiculous number of missed chances all point to the fact we are S**t up front and will not get anywhere unless we sign 2 quality forwards.

For what its worth Kitson and Chopra would get us to the play-offs. Clarke and Mackie might keep us in the division.

No one dissagrees that we need one or two quality strikers. The bit that winds me up is the depth of your negativity. Ban positive talk? Get a grip, lock yourself away and try to have a polite word with yourself. Don't try to drag people down when they're trying to stay positive. Who else has signed much 'quality' in the league so far since the season finished? Can you say for sure that we're not in the process? No, you can't, just as I can't say that we are. You're moaning for the sake of it right now. As I said...no one has signed any real 'quality' in this league. Burnley are getting Iwelumo who most of you don't want near our club, so be thankful for that.

The season hasn't long finished, yet you expect results immidiately.

We need lots of things the club has been run badly since 96 even before that Thompson caused many issues but the root was caused from Chris Wright putting all efforts into getting back into the prem and before that giving ray Wilkins big money to spend
we have never recovered. We can now put this right, we need an academy, we need 2 strikers a new ground, better marketing and for sure need fans to apreciate what we do have in the mittal family. Early signs are great, communication with supporters etc, they know the size of the task and our passion, these people don't fail thanfully for us

I would totally agree with you if we had not signed anyone but we have already signed 2 forwards, can you really see any one else coming? I'm not sure.

                        Nobody can possibly say that.
Wasn't it Chris Wright who agreed to buy Mike Sheron, the previous seasons leading scorer, on the basis it would "guarantee" promotion? We didn't go up.
Some signings work, some don't. At all clubs.
I do agree we need quality up front, but as I've said a zillion times, I trust that Neil Warnock knows what he's doing, and is building a squad/team rather than just randomly signing players as we have done too much in the past.

If you don't think we will sign better srtikers kingy you are crazy!

I don't think mackie will play uptop necesarily and Clarke is a gamble but not an expensive one, lee cook cost us over 1m and has played less than 5 decent games in 2 years, I love the bloke but I bet we get more than 5 decent games out of Clarke in 2 years

We currently have Agyemang/Helgusson/Balanta/Clarke/Mackie/German/Vine. I can't see us signing 2 more forwards unless we get rid of most of that lot, which we might, and if we want to be challenging for promotion we definately need 2.

Can't guarantee it but in my opinion they would both score more than 15 goals each, which with a solid back four would put us in the frame.
