Remember planning to have a quiet light ale there aged about 17 going down the escalator at liverpool st after an Ipswich away game and walking into carnage! Luckily it was the fag end of it but still nasty think it was a west ham greeting!! Gave me a sleepless night and as a youth remember London was a much more violent place in the 80's than it is now!
