I renewed ages ago; regarless of who we signed i knew where i wanted to be every other saturday (Tuesday) next season. Don't get me wrong i'd love it, as much as the next fan, if we made a few big name signings but if we don't so be it and i guess we all have our reasons for going to LR.

I guess it does sound a bit desperate.
I can understand fans who want to buy a ST, just because they love the club and will support the team whoever is playing, but I can also understand why some refuse to part with £500 or so, until the club fulfill the promise of signing players to justify the high cost of watching QPR (QPR is far more expensive than many other Championship clubs and even Prem League ones).

had txt and phone call and i said what many others have said....nope not renewing and will pick and choose games unless i see serious financial commitment from the board AND they improve my matchday experience to the point where it is actually worth the high ticket price (food is disgusting, cant go for a slash at halftime cos u miss first 5 mins of second half, stewarding is a joke, half time entertainment?) whereas over the pitch im staring at empty seats where the only part of the ground that seems to have had any money spent on it is where Flabio and his mates used to sit.

Some o'you people make me laugh. Why is it "desperation" for the club to try and sell more tickets, or even to do some "market research" as to why people haven't yet or aren't renewing?
If they WEREN'T doing that, they'd be accused of a poor marketing strategy and a "couldn't care less" attitude.
I've renewed. All this talk of "ambition or lack of it" means nothing to me, I go because I want to support my team and know I will go to most Home games.
When we are doing well, and you can't get a ticket, you might regret not renewing......

I do agree with Fawny. It is unbelievable that it seems that many supporters are happy to wallow in poor ST sales. For Christ sake do you support QPR or not? What is paid for a season ticket now, certainly in silver is no different to what was being paid four years ago when we were celebrating the signing of such players as Cullip, Nardiello and Curtis. Briatore has gone and we have a manager who we ought to have confidence in. If Warnock wanted to spend a few quid on a player then I am sure he will. One thing that he isn't is a puppet. Problem is QPR supporters now think that we should be signing Prem stars. Football doesn't work like that. Warnock will sign who he wants and not what the supporters want. Sometimes I wish that the Mittals would walk away saying '****'em, we did our bit but frankly the supporters are the ones that are half-arsed'. If you can't afford to renew then fine, I sympathize, if you can then basically you are idiots.

I must admit, that if Briatore was still in charge, I wouldn't have got one. But once that lump was removed I was always going to get mine.
If others need big signings to make them get a ticket, that's up to them. Free country.
No problem with a bit of sales talk.
If they didn't bother with any marketing, people would probably complain about that instead.
Each to their own, and all that.
Personally I am not worried if season ticket sales are down on last year, Warnock will bring in the players needed to change things around, the fans will turn up and QPR will get more money in gate receipts!!! Simples...
