What makes me laugh about this site is,Pete says these rumours are not true and that he is the fountain of all knowledge and you take his word for it.

Helguson could yet be a handy squad player if the fans gave him a chance. The stick he got last time round shot his confidence, which for a striker is everything. The more you get on a players back, the more his confidence suffers, the worse he plays - a vicious downward spiral.

What makes me laugh is that every time something doesn't go right, Pete get's s**t for it. Even has mates making up a load of bow-locks to give more ammo to his critics. Agreed, Pete put's his own neck on the line, but so what?! I've been given info lately...some good, some poor, but it won't stop me shareing it at all.

Perhaps i could have made myself clearer in respect of a couple of posters above who would be willing to come to blows over what someone has wrote on a MB,and the mere fact that some fans seem to hang onto his every word,and dismiss others claims at a drop of a hat.

I see what you're saying, Sharpy, but that's up to those individuals. If they choose to believe everything they read, then that's their fault. They are only setting themselves up for disappointment. I take everything with a pinch of salt. Even if I really want to believe it, I still try not to get too excited. I don't understand how it ever goes as far as wanting a straightener either...It's ridiculous.

Problem here is that claims were made that the deal is done, we are still in talks and we all know he is a big target for this summer.

As Nodge says the deal is far from done and things can change last minute... the bus can get lost or never makes it to it's final destination as well.

I hope this deal don't die on us the very last minute.
