Ageymang after his purple patch? (I didn't praise him, but everyone else did)
One game doesn't make him any good. He's a half decent impact player, but we also have better. SWP is a much better choice for me. At least he is capable of pulling something out of the bag.Your mum would love me...

I think its crazy that he will still be the youngest player in the squad 4 years after the last world cup squad.... I feel the poor lad has never had the chance to develop out of the spotlight... and he just isnt that good.“You can keep that silly fat w@nker. The lads can't lift him”

Walcott is a good impact player, but he doesn't start enough consecutive games and has suffered from injuries over the last 2-3 seasons.
He is still young and needs to learn. For me, he would be better off not going to the World Cup and going out on loan nrext season to a side like Wolves to gain experience.
I would rather take Lennon, SWP, Joe Cole and Adam Johnson to the World Cup.

hes one of those players or managers, like paul hart and fitz hall that are crap but always get a good job. It was big Dan Shittu that had him in his pocket if i remember rightly?.
Adam Johnson is the way forward on that side, along with Lennon IMHO

I don't think he was that bad against Mexico but Lennon looked more effective when he came on. Lennon did have the luxury of playing against tired legs when we were counterattacking regularly. Lennon cuts inside a lot better whereas Walcott only seems to wanna use his pace to go to the byline.
He should be on the bench as an impact player because he will frighten the life out of some of the defenders. Against a good fullback I think he'll get easily contained though. Evra and Cole always make him look like a baby.
