Also - some major failures last night. Carrick was utterly diabolical, suprised he didn't get more of a slating. Baines - weak. King was poor, forget the goal. Rio was poor...entire defence and midfield was poor.....! Walcott would be great if he could control or pass a ball.
Rooney had no service. It was better when Gerrard started to remember how to play football.....but we are a long way from contenders at the moment - but that changes during a tourney - we just need some results under our belts.
I HATE to say this, but we missed the Chelsea players last night. Gerrard has had a poor season and I think Lamps should take his slot now.Comment

Completely agree, carrick was the stand out poor performer from last night. I really hope he's not seen as replacement for barry, he shouldn't even be in squad! I'd prefer a one-legged hargreavesComment
