FOOTBALL NEWS
Darren Ambrose - linked with QPR.
PALACE SILENT OVER AMBROSE TALK according to Sporting Life.....
Crystal Palace have declined to comment on reports that Darren Ambrose has been given permission to hold talks with QPR over a potential move to Loftus Road.
Ambrose netted the most important of his 20 goals this season as the Eagles claimed a dramatic final-day 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday to preserve their Championship status.
Reports have suggested that Ambrose has been allowed to talk to Rangers about a transfer believed to be worth £750,000, but Palace have no official comment to make on the issue.

NW knows how to get the best out of Ambrose. He's proved that. Its all about man-management and team ethic The same thing will apply to Clarke and Mackie. Ollie has proved it too with Blackpool. Oh ye of little faith just sit back and watch. A manager that commands the respect of his players makes a world of difference, any pro footballer will tell you that.

I'm sorry SellieSam, but I have it on good authority that they would all be signing for us.
Danns price is around a mill, but we've offered about 750k, as I understand it. Clyne is a "done deal" and if Speroni doesn't go to the Hammers, he'll come to us.
What narks me is that some of our fans are saying "How can you look at buying from Palace, when they almost got relelgated"
Well, it was only due to the 10 point deduction that Palace were in any trouble, and I'm pretty sure that if they hadn't had that, we'd not have NW, and it could well have been Palace instead of Blackpool, in the Play-offs.
Good luck in your fight to keep the team alive, and best wishes for the future.
This was from Aerospacemango from BBC 606,he's usually pretty spot on.....
