  • Two big signings this week...

Only passing on what I was told. My guess would be a couple from Palace but who knows.

    They wouldn't be big.

Big would be Beattie or someone of that ilk.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Agreed no Palace player signing would be big IMO.

Clyne would be the biggest but we have hardly been linked with him.

I'm not saying they'll be both from Palace, just my opinion and if it is the players that have been touted I'd be happy because they are better than what we have!

Spot on and exactly what I think.

Any Palace players is definately NOT a big signing.

I don't even want Ambrose as I think Buzz in the middle is a better player he just had an average season but if we can get Buzz playing well he is a better player than Ambrose. Ok speroni will be decent and a slight improvement on Cerny but none are Big.

Still we don't need players like Beattie when you have the likes of Leon Clarke.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I would class Speroni as big to be honest. Quality keeper in this league. Not saying he's coming...just that he'd be a fantastic addition.
              Your mum would love me...

Palace need approx £1m before May 31st apparently to keep the creditors appeased as the CVA is still to be agreed.

QED - No surprise if a couple of their more high profile players move on this week in lieu of registration later.

Speroni and Ambrose for £1m then. Extra 750k for Clyne and Danns.

                      Easy this game.

Do we really want ambrose and Danns?

I think they would be decent squad players but our midfield is pretty strong.

Surely our priority is a poacher ie Hooper to play alongside Leon Clarke

Ambrose and Hill signing this week, hardly BIG signing but better than the first two.Speroni should be signing soon as well, but he has gone home (Argentina,i think) for a month.

Happy to see Ambrose come in,and Will be happy when Speroni signs as well,Hill, like the other 2 (Mackie and Clarke)squad players. We will need 2 quality strikers as well.
