Age and injuries have got the better of him, hope I'm wrong but wont be much use to us next season if we want a top 6 finish.

sentiment has got to go if we want to go up. and theres quite a few that will break my heart to see them released, but its got to happen. (and i think rowlands is one of them)

Give him a chance to prove himself before consigning him to the scrap heap. He was a full international before the injury and at 31 could still do a job at this level, IF he can prove his fitness.

he has the quality that wont ever leave him. but i reckon his fitness and reactions will be gone.

Lol, so you guys have seen him in training have you? Seen his reactions and fitness and sharpness disappear or reduce!

Internet stuff makes me laugh sometimes.

saw him before the injury ;) he was slow then.. what do you think another huge injury like this is gonna do? make him sharper?

see rowan vine for example of what can happen after a big injury

I think it's stupid if we get rid of rowlands, nearly all of you will disagree with me but i think he is without doubt our best player. He's our captain and is a true leader, we played so well with him earlier in the season and he's great in all positions. I can't imagine not being able to see him play for one last season at least!

REMEMBER, this was the same player being linked to the prem last year or so

I don't think anyone is saying get rid, just that he wont be in the starting XI next season. Also it was 2 years ago when there was a very weak rumour that he was off to Stoke, before he suffered his two ACL injuries.

The seriousness of his two injuries and his age will probably mean he is restricted to sub appearances next season, and if we get two of Ambrose Danns Montgomery then it will be very tough for Rowly to get games next season.

Rowlands is more important than Danns and Ambrose, is it just me that thinks Ambrose is well overrated. I just feel he has 1 very good season but if you asked me the year before I would say the guy is pants.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think he's finished IMO, although he's still a good player the injuries are now finishing him off...

rowlands is a guaranteed starter when fit under warnock, warnock type of player, gives his all to the cause;and we will not get anywhere without a very hard working centre midfield.the flair can come from the wide players and rowly always chips in with his fair share and more of goals

i honestly think after the injuries, his get up and go has got up and gone.
would love to be wrong tho.

Said earlier, just after his latest injury, can't see him playing at this level again regrettably. He gives 110% and that can't be said with many of our players last season. He will be sorely missed, hope I'm wrong though.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.
