We need more than 7 new players if all the loans are going back and we want to build a winning squad, we have had no pace or presence up front and even though i am really disappointed with the likely hood that our first 3 signings (inc Hill) are so uninspiring i know we cant afford to buy 7 top draw players. after hill signs i hope the bigger names come into the frame, one quality striker please Mr W.

We have the richest man in the world at the helm, can't afford should not even come into the vocabulary
Okay we are in the championship, but looks like some other clubs will out bid us or get in better quality.
Guess its a realisation of where we are, a mediocre supported club and aspirations that are just a little too highALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

I have the feeling this will be an underwhelming summer. All well and good building a squad with free transfers and cheap deals but what you will be left with is an average squad which is what we have had for the past 3 seasons pretty much anyway. 4 average players from Palace will not turn us into Champions either, to win the league you have to go the whole way and assemble bottom half PL squad.
I am astounded The Board haven't made a Marquee siging before the EBD finished and IMO this is a sign of things to come this summer.

Hmmmm, interesting point, I remember back in the 70's, 80's and early 90's thinking, "how the hell are we able to compete the way we do with the size of club/crowds we got back then".
Looking back it was a truly amazing achievement, we are a small club and for some reason, can and will "again" compete at the highest level.
If you look at our current squad we haven't even got enough squad players, so I suspect we are building up the squad element first then adding the cream on top.
The bottom line is, we are a spoilt bunch, other than the last 14 odd years, we have been punching above our weight.
Warnock will bring big names in, it's obvious he will, he wouldn't have taken the job if he couldn't do just that.
So bloody chillout, for our size we are the luckiest club in the world, look at Fulham, never won sod all, Palace, and the list could go on and on, and palace can claim to be a bigger club purely based on they fanbase, so chill Winston.
Kept the faith!

In respect of price, yes we all want things cheaper.
Leeds have similar season ticket & matchday pricing for next season & have sold approx 10,000 to date
We have a core i would estimate at 7,000 that like myself have purchased season tickets year in year out - topped up by glory boys.
The owners wealth makes the difference between 7,000 & 10,000 being sold immaterial
