now im not gonna shoot my north off saying the signings so far are two bob n show our lack of real ambition.....look at blackpool to see big names are not neccessarily needed to get to the promised land but im sorry warno is putting hmiself in the firing line if things start badly next season.....the signings of two 'strikers'; from relegated clubs hardly sets my pulse racing but can we honestly say they will be any worse than vine,pellicori or aggymang??.....my worry is i see these uninspired buys mirroring nardeillo,curtis,barker couple of seasons back!

But, quality players dont just come at the drop of a hat!! Clubs are lookign for the best deals they can get, time.....

NW is building a squad for promotion. The likes of our 2 'relegated' signings may not even make the bench. NW will bring in up to 10 players imo, some for Carling Cup and FA Cup games, the others to win us promotion. Look at the bigger picture. Expect to see mackie ad Clarke on a cold Octobers night at Rochdale in the cup, they wont make our championship bench

Disagree I think you need to get in there early, the longer you leave it the more chance a PL will come in at the last minute, happens all the time. Then we all sit around wondering why players go for double what we wanted to lay out.

In all fairness clubs just won't take us seriously when it comes to doing business as we like to make cheap offers on player below the market value in a hope we get a bargain all the time.

think Mackie will be a good addition,but am peeved off with clarke coming in,what with Hill prob comin in next its just looking like the same old story once again. The quality of the players needs to improve drastically before i fork out for tickets & travel which certainly aint cheap.

To be completely honest I'm mighty pissed off with both signings, especially Clarke!

If it turns out we sign better and they are squad players then fine but I reckon this is the calibre we are going to go for which is just what we have got used to. I won't be renewing.
