Like the way he admits we are a long way off newcastle and west brom - that means he will have emphasised to the board that he maybe good but he can't turn water into wine and that if they are serious about promotion we need some serious spending.

Well I think the bulk of the budget should be spent on strikers... thats key to promotion.

Not sure where Warnock says anything about "next week"?

I'm sure we will buy another few players, but we might have to be a bit more patient than waiting a few days.
        Asking a lot, I know.

There isn't much serious player movement at any clubs before June, normally.

QPR will have to wait to bring Julian Speroni to Loftus Road.

This week the Crystal Palace keeper won his club’s player of the year award for the third season in a row and is apparently being courted by Premiership clubs and Middlesbrough.

The 30-year-old is going back to Argentina for a break and waiting to see what other offers come in, and his former manager will have to look elsewhere if a move to the top flight materialises.

Speroni said: "A footballer’s career is a short career and sometimes you have to do what’s best for your family and yourself.

“A lot of things are going on at the moment though, so we will see what happens."

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

            Like most players are.

If people are getting fed up and "bored" of only one signing before this season has even finished, god knows what it'll be like in a couple of weeks.

Players want to see all their options, and wont sign sign on the dotted line just because big old QPR come knocking.

                      Not in his direct quotes.

Interpretation of what he said, and he didn't mention next week.
Not saying we wont, but only leads to further dummy-spitting on here if we wait a week or two more.
