          Rowlands is definately better.
Why is rowlands definitely better? We've not had a full season out of rowly in ages. Whilst not his fault, we're better off with someone who can stay fit all season. Rowlands goal scoring records is not the best either. He's never really hit the heights of his league 1 days imo

You are entitled to your opinion and I'll stick with mine. I find your comment interesting regarding doing my research. Ambrose played as an attacking wing back for Newcastle and in his first season at Charlton too. It was only in his second season at Charlton that he was moved into a more midfield role and then I believe he has only just started playing in a freer flowing role behind the front men. Also I could also chuck into the mix that he is a) a lot younger than Rowlands and b) the fact he has scored almost double Rowlands two best seasons tally and as many as Rowlands has done in the last 5 years. Is the glass half full or half empty I ask?

Rowlands best years are way past him. He wasn't anything special last season and prior to his injury he was average this season too. He is of the same calibre as Leigertwood, very over rated by many. His best season was when we played in the first division as that was his level, perhaps he was only decent then because he was playing for a contract! I would suggest stop living in the past. His playing career shows exactly all this too. I think the facts are clearly in the research. Research you say, well in future I would say try and refrain from getting all narky and practise what you preach!

Because he is...in my opinion. He's a better all round player who gives far more effort. Again, my opinion. Granted, his age and injuries may slow him down, but i'd still rather see Rowlands in the middle of the park. I'm 100% certain you'll see what I mean in due course. Not writing Ambrose off either as he's hardly terrible. He's just very lazy. And I didn't once say his scoring record was great. I just pointed out that Dazzers claim of Ambrose scoring far more often was a load of rubbish. As I said, Rowlands QPR career has produced almost as many as Ambroses whole 10 years, including his very good, yet one off return the season just gone. That's a fact you can't argue with.

Again...to re-itterate...I am not writing Ambrose off. Just stating my opinion on his laziness and the fact his goal tally is no more impressive than Rowlands...that's why you should research Dazzer. Playing a more forward role should have gotten him more goals, so I'm unsure on how this has strengthened your arguement?!

im not sure about ambrose. i mean we all wanted priskin to sign after he went goal crazy for watford a couple of seasons back. could be the same with ambrose.
that being said, if he does sign, ill back him 100%.

I hope Rowly can come back and make an impact though, of course.

Rowlands has scored nearly as many for QPR as Ambrose has in his whole career. For what it's worth, he'll do well for us as NW got the best out of him, but Rowlands is still a better player when he gets going.
Ambrose is young at 26, played out of his skin under Warnock and created loads as well as putting them away. Rowlands, sadly, as he has been great is fading, Time waits for no man unfortunately.

Hes better off with us than a rival

rowlands was solid as ever for us last season whenever he did manage to get fit, and we're always a better side with him in. trouble is it's impossible to rely on him now with all the injuries.

I will take NW's decision on this one as he clearly knows this player far better than any of us!
