DARREN Ambrose will be sold to Queens Park Rangers next week unless the consortium trying to rescue Crystal Palace agree to fund the club through the summer.
The Advertiser understands that former manager Neil Warnock has tabled an offer of £750,000 to prize the Eagles top scorer away from Selhurst Park.
And with no money to pay May’s wages Palace administrator Brendan Guilfoyle will be forced to sanction the transfer unless CPFC 2010 tell him otherwise.
Guilfoyle revealed at a question and answer session with the club’s fans yesterday that the consortium - headed by Eagles fans Steve Parish and Martin Long - are unwilling to finance the club until they know a company voluntary agreement will be passed by the club’s creditors.
