    Another mouth-watering tie.

Wonder when we will arrange a friendly where it will be technically competitive?

Although if Hall, Agyemang, Pellicori etc play it probably will be competitive.

I'm very disappointed with the quality/level of our opposition so far. Would have been better off playing the likes of Barnet, Wycombe, Oxford or even Northampton. The first two games against non-league sides is ok to open the pre-season but it should then get harder with every game from then on.

Jesus Christ lads...Don't get all upset. Palace play these sort of games every year and with good reason. Boreham Wood, Bromley and other teaams like that play a high standard. They sometimes have a few very, very good 16-17 year olds playing in their 1st team. It's a good opportunity to see them and work out whether or not it's worth a trial or not.

Granted, it's hardly mouth watering, but these games aren't played just to notch up a goal tally.

I'd imagine there will be two different teams. It's like when you see a prem side play Crawley Town...it's always a youth/reserve side. The assistant manager will probably take charge and see what players look good.
