Not sure he'll be 20 goal a season, but coupled with a more prolific striker he could be part of a great partnership. Also he'd scare defences a lot more than Vine/Pellicori etc especially coming off the bench against tired legs with his pace and enthusiasm.
I am optimistic as I see him as a replacement for Vine and Hogan and as such he is seems an improvement in every department. He is fast, committed and has scored 8 goals. If we get McAnuff as a replacement for Routledge then we have improved our squad in two areas and with minimal oulay, same as with Hill we need someone to grind out results when the going is tough.
The most impressive thing for me is hearing Warnock talklng about his potential. If there is one manager who can get the best out of a player it's Warnock.
Worth noting that he wasnt always played as a striker at Plymuff, so to score 8 goals for a relegated team isnt as bad as it first appears. He's still young enough to improve and for NW to bring out his untapped potential. Sounds like he has a first rate attitude too, so definitely a Warnock type of player. And by all accounts he's had his eye on him for a while. Could also fill the right-wing void left by Routledge.
