Well it took 500k and a 4 year contract.
Shows why Sturrock is currently on the dole.

I was talking about his perception of a football player, not quite sure what his health has to do with that?
For the record I hope Paul Sturrock makes a full recovery and my best wishes out to him.

He's on the dole due to his health.

Also, when that interview was done Mackie had 2 years on his contract so would have been more valuable, he only had 12months left now which is why we picked him up for 500k.

He's on the dole because Plymouth sacked him and replaced him with Mariner.

                Heres a novel idea
Why not watch him play a few games for us and then form an opinion?
Bit leftfield for our fickle support i know, but lets try it

Ive watched him, and to be honest he was their biggest threat when we played them at HQ, along with the black lad they bought on in the 2nd half.

500k isnt much in todays transfer terms, so not worried if he turns out to be a dud to be honest.

You don't recover from Parkinsons (oops!), still I'm sure he welcomes the sentiment!

And he was sacked partly because of his health problems. He's got Parkinsons.

It will be interesting to see if the other eight QPR outfield players will ever receive a pass from Mackie and former Argyle player Akos Buzsaky!

                            i chuckled.

                              Well Sturrock clearly rated Mackie.
