Agreed mate, people look on Wikipedia and see his stats and call him rubbish. I know a fair amount about Mackie and he is a very good player, im sure we wasnt the only CCC team interested.

Still early days mate, 5-6 weeks before the window even opens. Not many deals have gone through for anyone.

That is very true Morris but because of all the disappointment over the 4 year reign of Flav I want the mittals to really give us that 1 big signing 'striker' so us the fans have something to really get excited about. I know it is early days but I just feel the longer we don't see that player the more likely it will be that someone else gets him.

I know what you mean, id like us to make 4-5 quality signs yesterday, but these things do take time, but im taking comfort from the fact we have made a signing already when most haven't, which shows that we are working behind the scenes to bring players in ASAP. Hopefully we don't have to wait long until we get someone else on board.

You are correct, Jamie needs to be given a chance. He could be an excellent acquisition and some of our fans should be more realistic, we are QPR not Barcelona.

I have been slated for calling a section of our support ****ing clueless before, at no point in time in the immediate future can I see myself retracting that statement.

Ok lets all look at it this way:

Lets say Warnock buys 7 players, we are bound to have 1 wild card player that we're unsure about, so on law of averages that isn't too bad... besides he might actually fit in well with the side and do well.

I guess the only down side to it is the 4 year deal, it should had been 2 with the option of a 3rd IMO.

think the 4 year deal was a mistake but as far as player goes we have yet to see him in the hoops... got to give him a fair few games before we can judge. I did the same for Pellicori
