  • Anyone else feeling positive about next season?

Don't know if I'm just clouded by the euphoria of seeing Cardiff miss out on the play offs or the pleasure of seeing decent kits for next season. BUT, I'm feeling very upbeat about next season.

Today it sounded like Dave and Vine played blinders...chuck in that Buzz should be back soon, our defence is one of the best in the country, Hogan has come on leaps and bounds, cookie has started to find his old form, adel looks a great loanee etc etc and well, things are looking up.

Yes, we need the right choice for manager and yes, I still think we need a better goalscorer but, things are looking better. With the right boss I reckon we can easily contend for play-offs at least.

Oh and dont forget the youth coming through such as balanta, rose and german.

Roll on next season I say.

Scott agree, it looks good, but really don't think Balanta will be any part of our pushing forward, IMO he is just not good enough, sold on next year.

                I also emulate your sentiments.

Balanta looks brilliant and should be starting every week IMO. He has come on leaps and bounds this season and the loan to Wycombe has done him great favours.

I'm ecstatic about next season...providing we bring in the right manager :super_man:

This is our most successful season since we got relegated from the Premier League I think. I think we all forget that...maybe things dont happen overnight.

I thought the only stalling point was his injury...right? :waaaht:

I'm already wondering how to fill the void that will be saturday afternoon in Shepherd's Bush with no Rangers at Loftus Rd.

Starting every week are you sure, can't even see him figuring in the squad if we are taking promotion seriously.

Well it’s over at last. A truly horrible season for all sorts of reasons, but yes, there are many positives to consider for next season.

We are now 0 points behind both an automatic and a play off spot.

We will go into the new season injuries permitting, with a much stronger squad than we have done for many years.

We surely cannot now be denied a quality striker or two that will be far superior to the rubbish we have had of late. Ones that are capable of converting their fair share of the huge number of scoring opportunities we have created and not put away this season.

We will hopefully, finally get the manager that we crave. One that is determined to produce football that, can be regarded as entertaining, whilst eradicating some of the silly and costly mistakes of the past couple of seasons.

Our season tickets will be less, although not by much, than this season’s.

We have got our proper home kit back.

We have got our proper away kit back.

We should at long last be getting a decent pitch, on which to show off our fantastic football next season.

The club should have sorted out the ladies loos, KLR may come to a few more games, Report won’t have too many critical articles to copy and paste and Pete may be allowed an opinion.

But to top it all, what greater satisfaction can one take in knowing that if only Cardiff could have lost 5-0 at Preston, then they would be in the play offs. Shame.
