This bloke doesn’t seem to be the 20 a season goal getter that we are going to need.
        Taken from the bbc

“The 24-year-old joined Argyle for £145,000 from Exeter in 2008 and scored 16 goals in 102 games but could not help them avoid relegation this season.”

Hoping for a bit more than this, but what do I know

It's a long summer and I think he'll play wide left. Hoping bigger money is spemt on the frontmen! All 4 of them!!

Bloomin eck - 6 pages and virtually all posts whinging about a 4 year deal.

OK, so a Four year deal is more than the norm - but it's a known amount. It's a package. Long deals have bad points if a player doesn't work-out, is total pants and we can't get shot - but I would doubt it very much with this guy. As someone said - trust NW.

A package is signing-on fee, transfer and wages. Now, he may have been offered £10,000 a week to stay where he was (I have no idea - but as an example) but Rangers come in and say "we'll give you £6,000, but over 4 years". I think Patrick Agyemang was a good example of this. Whether he was worth signing or was a success is another debate. But there are more ways to attract players other than offering the biggest wage.

Ok - so it's more money, but not necessarily outrageous per week. He's attracted not because it's "big money" per week, but because he gets security of sorts.
We get a settled squad (presume NW sees him for the long-term too) without the renegotiating of a contact every year or two. And the finance men have accurate projections for the medium and not just short term.

I hear the arguments against - just thought someone should chip-in with a couple of arguments "for".

ok i agree 4 yr deal is abit long but lets give the guy a chance 2 prove us wrong.

and yes his goalscoring exploits 4 plymouth last season were shat but if u read his profile scored 20+ goals 4 exeter in 45 games.

plymouth r shat and he was best player.

                in warnock we trust c'mon u r'ssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Hopefully he will thrive in a better quality team than Plymouth as they were awful last season.I will reserve my judgement until i see him play a few games for us.

He must be punching the air and pinching himself to get a chance to perform in front of the welcoming committee in store for him.
