A mass exodus is expected from Crystal Palace in the summer, but star goalkeeper Julian Speroni would be happy to stay at the club forever.
The Argentine is wanted at Queens Park Rangers by former Palace boss Neil Warnock, while Middlesbrough have also shown an interest, but the 30-year-old wants to wait for the outcome of a proposed takeover of the Eagles before making a decision.
The fan-backed CPFC 2010 consortium is thought to be nearing a deal to buy the club and ground, with administrator Brendan Guilfoyle telling fans on Saturday "I will save this club".
Speroni told The Croydon Guardian: "I'm waiting for next week to see if we have any news on the future owners of the club.
"I'm looking forward to that and seeing where we are and what to do in the near future.
"I hear all the rumours about me but I am just waiting, I don't have anything else.
"I am still a Palace player and I am happy with that, I just have to wait and see.
"I have said many times before I would play here all my life if I could. I am comfortable and I am happy and my relationship with the fans is fantastic.
"If I could play here all my life, then why not?
"A footballer's career is a short career though, and sometimes you have to do what's best for your family and yourself.
"A lot of things are going on at the moment though so we will see what happens."
Speroni's displays between the sticks for Palace this season won him the player of the year award on Saturday, making him the first Eagles player to win the award three times in a row.
