I have read on several message boards now and the rumour is getting stronger.
If this is the case then I seriously, to some of yous delight will stop posting on here:
WATRBs has just hit an all time new low.
"An advert was put up with a sticky saying please click this advert as much as you want as it helps pay for the site. (Stupid as it invalidates the T&Cs but not morally wrong)
Then it was amended to say by clicking this advert you are also helping the Community Trust and the KENYAN Prince Association.
Others pointed out that the murdered kid is actually called Kiyan and it was changed a few days later to be spelt correctly.
Then it turned out that no monies were going to either charity. Source, Kiyans family who had no idea what the hell any of it was about (note i have been advertising Marks Sky Dive for him for over a month on the 1882 site as well as facebook)
For two days I have been flagging it to Pete in private saying it is fleecing people as it is giving the impression the money goes to charity when it doesnt. I'm sure Clive can let you know how you basically get jack sh't from advertising...so even if it made some serious money (which it wont) when and how much would the charities get? None basically.
Was banging my head against a brick wall so flagged it up publicly.
Cue them eventually getting in contact with the Prince's and getting the details of the SkyDive, banning a handful of people and making #### of themselves.
For what it's worth I dont blame Pete, he can barely use a mobile let alone know how internet advertising works. It's the ****s around him who couldnt arrange a **** up in a brewery and have jack didly morals"
