  • Avoiding Any Confusion..Regarding The Two Charities

In order to avoid any future confusion and to put a line under this whole episode, its with deep regret that this site has been questioned by an individual and led in turn to many false accusations. It angers me that QPR fans who pitch up with each other at home and away games can have utter contempt for other fans and sometimes I forget we support the same team. I visit so many football messageboards to get ideas and I can honestly say we must have the most argumentative bunch of supporters on the planet who must get enormous kicks in bringing other people down.

What started as completely genuine has now be turned into a farce.

I simply do not understand why a site which has offered a system which potentially can offer donations to two charities should be ridiculed? I cannot understand it and guess never will.

Unlike other QPR sites, this site cost money to run each month. Its not a free forum or a free board. All other sites work hard on their respective sites but do not pay an annual fee to run it. A few sites are actually owned, but this one costs £90 per month to run. We could have easily not even suggested charities and simply asked for clicks to help maintain the site. So many claim to not even visit this site, well in that case we must have one of the biggest supporters bases in the country, because everytime I look during the day over 200 are viewing.

I have said and will re-iterate no profit will be made on this site and the charities will take priority.

In order for anyone not to be influenced by mudslinging and to put a line under this epiosode and not allow people to have any ammuntion against me personally or the site, I will continue to pay for this site for the next 3 months.

Any revenue accrued in the next 3 months via the clicks will go straight to the two charities.

After that we will review, what has actually been acheived in having those adverts present on the board and forum.

The first payment made will be confirmed on this site as when it happens, so that every member of this site can monitor its progress

The £90 is incorrect because that is only the price for our server, we own the board out right but we still have to pay yearly for security updates and technical support for the board alone which is very important.

Next month we have to change servers to prevent our board from crashing when the transfer season opens which cost a little more.

Even after all of that I still think we could do everything we said but for the first 3 months we will donate 100% to both charity's and review how it's going. If I'm wrong and the sums don't add up then we can use 10% towards the site and donate 90% to charity's but we need to see how things go first, we haven't even tried it a week yet and started half way through the month.

I also feel we should keep some money aside for when fans run marathons or do charity events so that this website can donate on all our members behalf, there is nothing stopping people from donating extra if they wished to do so.

Good news is that we have made our first 1000 video plays and we'd like to thank everyone who have contributed for making that happen.

We are happy to say we have made our first £50 payment to QPR Football In The Community. Thanks to Merry Ploughboy who suggested through the FA Cup competition which was free to enter, that we donate the £50 to such a good cause.

By clicking the advert below and accumulating enoug clicks our next donation on behalf of this site will be for the Kiyan Prince Foundation.
