  • Michael Brown - Portsmouth.

The Mail on Sunday are suggesting that the tough-tackling Michael Brown might be able to do a job for us.They actually say...

"Age 33,weekly wage £22,000 (this will be a lot less IMO when he moves).Prospects;Time has caught up with him but a manager of a Championship side with ambition, might need a hard midfield player who can pass.Queens Park Rangers, perhaps? But he's worth about half his £1m price tag."

He's a filthy player. Exactly what we need IMO.

Either him or Mullins would be lovely.

What makes you say that?.......I think he's bound to move on to another Championship side, he has 1 year left on his contract and S****horpe will not let him walk for nothing. I think we are in with a good shout of getting Hooper!

It is still early days, just because it's all quiet on the transfer grapevine doesn't mean the club are not lining up players.

Hooper is a player that would excite me if he signed (in footballing terms only!!!)
