Appreciate what your saying Fawny but Nodge and Pete do have a point. As fans we have been lead to believe there would be some money spent this summer and some good signings brought in.......who know's maybe there still will be. But right now, every player we are being linked with really aren't a vast improvement on what we have already!

I was merley pointing out that you never questioned our transfer policy in the past but now you are sceptical of it...same approach, other clubs duds (if the rumours are true)

Now Luke chambers is in a similar mold to Clint hill, lacks ability but is a worker so this could be very true. I think these big name signings are just a distant dream so expect a disappointing build up to next season, at least we have the world cup to get involved in.
