pete, you mentioned something about adams a while ago. obviously no go if blackpool go up, but assuming they don't, any chance?
as for our new goal machine dont think anyone is that overwhelmed but some are doing well to put a brave face on it. lot depends if he is considered a squad player, then he is prob an improvement on vine and agyman, but if warnock is looking to start him think we wd all need a lot of goals/ assists to be convinced.

is mackie a center forward or a second striker? look at forwards such as heskey, dont score a lot but do so much work for the team.....
Sod hes goalscoring record, apprently he has pace and likes to beat his man, so get him on board and watch him create chances and make space for adel striding through the middle. Every1 is so obsessed with the 20 goal striker when we actually dont need 1. We need a team of confident, commited and hungry to win players who want to improve themselves and fight for the right to play in the prem.
Look at Blackpools side........ dj campbell.....majority on here never wanted him
Dobie...hasnt scored 20 goals many wouldnt fancy him
ormerod..... carnt see many of u moaners on here wanting him....
There all hungry and commited for success and to fight for eachother and thats what we need to instill here.... Thats why players like hill, speroni are targets there loyal and willing to fight for there team.
Im backing warnock 100% in whoever he buys and really hope the idiots at the games that boo dont start again this season..CUMMON RANGERS!!

Played less games than Adel, and not a striker, just like Taarabt.
My point being... goal stats don't tell the whole story.
Especially if a player is not an out and out striker, and plays in the hole, or out wide a lot.
I don't see too much stick coming Adels way for only getting 7 goals from about 1,450 shots.
Probably because he's a better player when he's 40 yards from goal.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

100% agree with you about mackie tho goddard, i no nothing of him but im sure he as other better attributes than scoring
He's a wonderful talent, and although his scoring record is poor, it's misleading. If he was off to another team, and the fans on their messageboards looked up his goal record on Wikipedia and saw 7 goals for the season... they'd be less than impressed.
Mackie could be the same. He's not a penalty box striker. He has real power and pace, and that creates space for others.
And Warnock turned Darren Ambrose from a player who scored zero goals in the season before last, and 13 goals in 5 years before he rolled up at Palace...into a midfielder who scored 20 goals this season, because he used his attributes properly.
Mackie could be great, could be sh*t, could be average. I dunno. But while everyone is entitled to their opinion about anything on here... I'm getting a bit tired of reading verdicts on players when there is very little to base it on, other than goal stats.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM
