Indeed it can be so and the point is thus generally valid,

I couldn't give a flying toss if the site made £10 or £1000 a month why would I care? Good luck to em.

I will now personally click the link 10 times a day to do my bit. They do their bit by running & maintaining the site. Fair deal in my book.

Pete and MYU do a great job with this site, I don't really care if they make a profit out of it, so carry on the good work guys.

theres many ways for this site to make a profit.. its upto the people who own it to actually create the right business model in which to accomplish this.

From the short time I've been here it seems that the running of the site and the associated costs falls on a small number of shoulders. And thats without factoring in the pure number of hours those people put in. I think at the very least the site owners should have the chance to recoup some of their costs.

First of all I made sure what we can and can't do with the advert, secondly I am the one who asked the questions not Mr Jones and I was told that I myself and all your members can click on the advert as many times as you like, no limits. What money we make is for this site to keep however we'd like to donate which everyone will see when the time comes.

I did my sums and worked out that not only can we cover the costs to run this site but we can then buy two tickets so that we can offer in competitions plus donate money to both charity organisations.

I have made this very clear in the sticky in the main forum, all we want to do is cover the costs for the site and any updates that need doing.

As you all already know when the site gets busy we still crash and that is to do with Ram, so we will be upgrading to a new server that's slightly faster but has an extra GB of Ram, that is going to cost us a little more.

What is wrong with asking our members to click on a video which they don't have to watch when it will only help cover our costs, offer better competitions and help donate to charity's.

I really don't understand what the problem is and if it bothers some people so much then please don't click on the videos but we will still provide you with this site out of our own pockets as we have been doing.

There is nothing wrong with asking for a little bit help from the members who use this site, we are trying to do good for our fans/members and also support charity at the same time but you can't please everyone.

Paul, myself & Clive sorted that out a few moons ago and we left it there, no need to start the whole thing all over again.

Everything I've posted is 100% genuine and if you read the sticky at the top you will see that all terms & conditions have been meet and the advertising company have read our sticky and said we're doing a good job.

Everything is 100% genuine and we do not want to make a profit from the clicks but do and have always wanted the site to be self paid for, I have found room not only to pay for this site but also update, extra money for competitions so you fans can win better prizes but also help support the two charity's.

If the above does not make sense then give me a better way of doing all the above. We are not asking for donations but clicks which cost our members nothing, it's the advertisers who pay this site so we can do all that I have stated, we don't have to donate the money but this is what we chose to do and thought our members would be happy with the idea if I be honest because I know one or two will have issues if we made a penny from the site.

If for any reason you don't wish to click then you don't have to but the more our members click then the more we will be able to donate.

I know if we do this right as a group of fans then we will not be donating £10 to £20 but much more each month and we will let everyone know if the two charity's don't.

When we donate, it's not only from this site but you the members for using this site and from watching the video advert.

This is a very silly question that he knows we wouldn't be able to give an honest answer but I'll give you an example.

If we get 10 clicks per day then we wont make any money for that month but if you look in the main section right now, how many are in there?

If each member pressed play on the advert we would get that many clicks, if in an hours time or next day they clicked again then we would get those extra clicks added, and for that reason I know we as a group of fans can do all of what I've already said.

I have also got the advertising company to read our sticky to make sure it's all okay, so please don't make things up when you have no idea what your talking about...

No Paul and I don't think you know what I was talking about. This website is owned by us 100%, we do the design, hosting, bring in funding from a to z, all of it.
