I do wonder if the good causes would appreciate a donation from a site that allows crap like this?

what a waste of energy. If ANY site wants to make some money through advertising or sponsored links - that's up to them.

1,000 clicks on the video, then this site gets £32 (myu can confirm), we are only on about 300 clicks so far this month. The more we get clicking the more we can donate, its that simple.

Don't click if you don't want to. No-one is forcing you to.

We would like supporters to click once a day, because it means the charities can benefit, but thats entirely up to you.

This site does have running costs and if an advertiser would like to cover that cost, then all the money we can generate will go to the charities. Otherwise it will be split 3 ways. ( cut off point for revenue to this site would be £90 per month and nothing more)

If in the unlikely event we are getting 1,000 clicks per day, we will be split two ways between the two charities.

I don't understand people on this board - contsantly having a go, yet they still frequent the place.

If you don't like this website I don't understand why you don't use a different one.

Last comment from me on this issue as you really don't need to click it

If we did make a profit on it, (ie over 3,000 clicks per month) we would NOT keep it. It will be divided two ways between the two charities.

We do not want to make any personal profit.

                        Why are you so bothered?

I couldn't give a flying toss if the site made £10 or £1000 a month why would I care? Good luck to em.

I will now personally click the link 10 times a day to do my bit. They do their bit by running & maintaining the site. Fair deal in my book.

Scott does raise a valid point that asking people to click on these ads may well be against the ad company's t&c's. If this is true, and you were found out, then you would be likely to lose any income earned. So I would be careful about how you push this.

theres many ways for this site to make a profit.. its upto the people who own it to actually create the right business model in which to accomplish this.

i have no problems if WATRB owners are pocketing profit from this website. id do exactly the same.
