watching the 3 videos does seem to like power, perhaps he could be the dark horse of the signings

no idea about the number, but do think a few will change their minds about him.

nice to see him in 9 and my total dream signing would be beattie in the 10.
i think id go to barnsley the week before and camp outside the ground if we had them two upfront with mackie mcanuff and ambrose and/or taraabt feeding them.
            the dream team.

im just reading wikipedia on clarke and i swear it reads very well. (in black below)
but one thing i never knew was we had him on laon before and he played for us once in 2006. i completley missed that, is that true and a well known fact or what?

Leon Clarke would be going out on loan to League One promotion chasing side Oldham Athletic without even making a starting appearance for Wednesday. Clarke proceeded to score his first goal for Oldham against League One rivals Doncaster Rovers in a 4–0 victory on 11 March 2007. In total, Clarke played five games and scored three goals for Oldham. After returning to Hillsborough, he was immediately placed in the first team and scored on his first start in a 2–1 victory against Cardiff City. After only one goal and one start in the early stages of the 2007–08 season, he was sent on loan to Southend United until January on the last day of the 2007 Summer Transfer Window. He made a great impression on his debut, scoring one goal and setting up two others in a 3–0 victory against Gillingham.

After returning to his parent club Sheffield Wednesday he was restricted to one start and five substitute appearances for the rest of the 2007–08 season, but made three important contributions. This included providing the flick on for Marcus Tudgay to score the second goal of a derby win against Sheffield United on 19 January 2008, scoring the third goal as Sheffield Wednesday beat Leicester City 3–1 in the vital relegation clash between the clubs on 26 April 2008 and following this up with another goal in the Owls' final game of the season, a 4–1 win over Norwich City at Hillsborough on 4 May 2008.

Since he has come back to the Wednesday first team in the 2008–09 season he has scored against Barnsley, and also against Doncaster Rovers in a 1–0 win. Leon later helped a Wednesday comeback against Norwich with a goal in a 3-2 victory, and then two games later he scored at home against QPR in a 1-0 victory in the 75th minute.

Clarke scored the first of Wednesday's two goals in the end of the season relegation battle against Crystal Palace, which could have seen either team relegated from The Championship on 2 May 2010. However in celebrating the goal, he kicked the advertising boarding, dislocating his toe and forcing the striker to be carried off the pitch and subsequently substituted (his replacement being former Palace player Tom Soares). The game finished 2–2, which saw Wednesday relegated to League One. Three days later it was announced he would not be offered a new contract.

Oh right so what your basically saying is your a sheep and you agree with everyone else. So not only are you gulliable your stupid as well, believe me when I say this that half the posters on this MB are ****ing clueless and your one of them. Maybe you should do us all a favour and try attending an adequate number of games to form an accurate opinion on a players ability and cast judgement yourself instead listening to the opinions of others or basing your post match analysis on what the QPR World Commentators say.

These new signings don't stand a chance with supporters like you. Whilst I don't believe these 3 signings will set the world alight, I'd like to give our manager the benefit of the doubt as to the reasoning for bringing these players in. All I ask is the Board drop ST prices in line with the standard of players they are bringing to the club, more than anything to shut fans like you up for 5 mins.

Oh and you never answered my question, how many times have seen these players perform live?

no need for that bit, you are making those judgements on what people post, not by meeting and having a conversation, so maybe you are as bad as the people moaning.

easiest thing if you 2 don't get on is to ignore each other, then others don't have to get involved.

All we wanted for 2 seasons was a proper manager who would come in a do a job, leave him to it and show some faith in him. I'm not exactly excited about what players are being brought in so far but I do think we make progress next season with the present squad. This club has not progressed since March 2008, things are not going to happen over night Warnock is rebuilding and bringing solid reliable players. Fans on here are ****ing clueless when you see some of the names branded about then take one look at form with laying out for transfer fees. Not only that we have to get donkeys like Ageymang and Vine of the books before we can bring a striker in and free up funds for wages.

I totally agree about proper manager etc etc, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, all of us are wannabe football managers inside and think we are right, doesn't make us stupid or clueless.Perhaps some people see things differently to you, perhaps one day we might all get together and realise that we are different in the flesh to what we are like on a message board, perhaps the impossible might happen that people all supporting the SAME team actually get on without having to dig each other out.

If everybody was the same in life then it would be a dull world.

Listen, you barely have an opinion on tactics and the way a football club is run. All you do like many others is just bang on about transfers with no structure to your arguments, your boring.
