If it was left to some of you running our club, we would have a squad of around 50, all of whom have only ever played at the highest level and skint.
When Rangers bought Bowles, Thomas, Sinton, Rowlands, Byrne, Pea**** (Darren) etc etc etc they were relatively unknown but went onto become stars !
Some of you just lack so much class its frightening, do you want us to follow Leeds, Southampton, Luton, Pompey lead and eventually go bust because we only get crowds of 13,000 ! FFS get real.

Yes but his goal ratio stats tell the truth, a good goalscorer can also create chances for himself, and his record seems pretty much the same wherever he has played. Take when he was at Exeter, surely there were weaker defenses than the ccc? Doesn't look good.

Spot on! The season isn't even over and the hysteria levels on here are rising!! There are so many on here who seem to be authorities on who is worthy enough to play for QPR based on nothing more than wikepedia or championship manager!!!

Gary Hooper scored 2 in 32 at Southend.

Here's an idea...how about we actually give players a chance instead of writing them off before they've even kicked a ball.

Warnock clearly has a plan. Mackie seems to fit that plan. Warnock knows what he's doing, far more than any of us do. No numbers of playing time on Football Manager will change that.

our fans today would have been similarly underwhelmed with the thought of signing

                sinton from brentford
                Sinclair from Blackpool
                pea**** from Hereford
                Ferdinand from Hayes

the list goes on and on!

                    Classic.

For someone who "works in football", he has an extremely limited knowledge of the game!

Personally, I'm comfortable leaving all this up to NW, and I'll give him 101% backing on EVERY signing. Nothing can be worse than Pellicori, Quashie, Borrowdale, etc.

                      Great post BennyBoyy !!

Sick of hearing he's not good enough...we could do better...doesn't set the world alight...look at his record !!!

FFS Look at the likes of Blackpool (forget Holloway for a minute) . How many of their players would you really want to see us sign ...I'm guessing Charlie adam and thats it.

Yet they've shown that its the manager that gets the best out of less high profile players.

I'm fed up of seeing underperforming , over paid 'so called superstars' who think they're billy big b'''''ks !!!

I'm gonna trust Warnock with HIS players , support my team , ignore the so called experts on this board and .... Enjoy the ride !!!

some people think that doing well on football manager means u know alot about football benny unfortunately.this happens with every player who is linked to the club.they are slagged off and wrtitten off before they are even signed.why on earth would better known players want to come here with some of the fans we have is beyond me.

I agree that Mackie might score goals for QPR than his record suggests and that Warnock has a plan and most other comments on why Mackie should be signed.

However, Warnock will also need to sign a striker to provide the "physical presence" he was going on about after every game, because Mackie is 5ft 8 i.e. not much difference to Simpson.

It also needs to be said that if QPR want to entice 10,000 fans to stump up for a ST (for many around £550), then some 'names' will need to be signed. My feeling is that Mackie, Hill, McAnuff etc wont do it.
