me too surely we can do better than him??? my expectations are dropping if that is the standard we are after. Him and aygepants did nothing for bristol city.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Hill
Speroni
Ambrose
Iwelumo
Mcanuff
Mackie
All sorted, apparently.
He's a good mate too.
All within the next 2 weeks.
He may be good at creating chances, but that's not what QPR need, because they have created enough chances over the last 2 seasons, but have failed to convert them.
Just look at how many decent chances Priskin, Simpson and Ephraim missed in the last game against Newcastle. That has been the same sorty for at least 2 seasons now.
I really think that QPR can do better than him and Iwelumo, and Tosic would be better than Hill (unless both are signing).

How Very Ordinary. Apart from Speroni, all are championship players. Where`s the players to Get us promoted. CLASS AND QUALITY is what we need. If we go up, HOw many will cut it in the Prem? WE need to build a Prem team in this division

How, apart from paying them £40,000 a week on four year contracts, you you plan on getting premiership players to play in the championship?
next question, assuming that you have managed to persuade said player to come to the club, how long before everyone points out that a player who is of premiership ability may have the touch of the mercenary about him if we're having to pay him £40,000 a week to play here and not at, say Stoke?RUN, MWEPU, RUN! CHARGE FORTH AND BOOT THAT BALL DOWNFIELD MY BOY, YOU MAGNIFICENT CHAMPION YOU!

There's no point me banging my head against the wall. I've said on a few occassions why I feel Mackie will be a great signing. My opinion won't change just because you and wikipedia tell me his stats mean he's pooh. When we're in the Prem and fighting it out in Europe, then I expect perfection. Right now, I expect good CCC players. Mackie, Speroni, Danns all fit that profile.
That's just my opinion though. If Wikipedia helps voice yours, that's fine, but I've seen Mackie a few times and he always shone.Your mum would love me...

He is 24 years old played for a number of seasons and has largely gone unnoticed. I've never heard of him and I don't think many others have either.
If he was as good as you say, surely there would have been interest shown in him from other clubs. To me it sounds as if you think he is more of a creater than a goalscorer, which if true, I don't think he is what QPR need. QPr had these last season in Taarabt, Routledge and Buzsaky etc, yet the chances were missed by Helguson, Vine, Simpson, Agyemang, Priskin, German.
Still, different opinions is one of the things that makes football so interesting.
