speroni n mcanuff r ones from the list that really excite me, ambrose had a great season so that is gd too.

iweulmo n mackie - much prefer strikers who can score n stats to back it up, if we get Hooper then i can accept these 2. i am usually positive bout players but iweulmo did nothing when he was on loan at bristol city, donkey miss for scotland. but on the plus side he did get decent amount of goals when wolves went up, 14 according to wikipedia. funnily enough as i write this my opinion bout him is becoming better!! we do need a big bully up front who can win a header. much better than helguson

i trust warnock to make the right signings

ok mate i'll explain, it is my opinion. Warnock has been going on about how excited he was about this season, i'll show you why i posted that:

Hill- If he is our first choice player next season i fear we will see him getting skinned by the better wingers in this division. Very slow. Saying that, he could be exactly what we need, a horrible cunexttuesday who will boot players up in the air. If we get tosic i'll be happy
Speroni- Only seen two games of him (palace away and the game against us when he had an unbelievable game) so can't fairly judge
Ambrose- could be a one season wonder. Goes missing in games a lot. Seems to score a lot though
Iwelumo- Not the best at all. Much prefer hooper/maynard or if we need a bigman then hulse would be better. Quite injury prone
Mcanuff- Quality, i actually am excited about him
Mackie- I've never even heard of him but the plymouth fans watch him every match. ok colin wanted to sign him for 700k when at sheff. utd, the plymouth fans said at the time:

"Good Riddance a headless chicken who cant head the ball, has no control, cannot pass and how many sitters did he miss averaging 8 goals a year im sure we cant find a replacement to match or beat that
        paulsmedia
£700,000 is good business for a striker who needs 8 chances to score one goal. He can't or won't pass to team mates, he can't control a ball but he can run and run."

Now, i'll be happy with some of them. But imo the players that warnock should be getting excited about are the likes of taarabt, hooper, maynard, tosic, clyne, etc. I didn't say i wasn't happy, but warnock kept going on about it after every match

I like the look of that list, imo still will need 1 or 2 more.

Would like hooper, the big man from wolves will do very well imo.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

I'll put my neck on the line and say that I'm 100% confident that if Mackie signs, he'll be a fans favourite in no time. Bags of pace, good skill, plenty of work rate and he'll only get better infront of goal.

thanks for the info benny and keep it coming mate!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Iv been told Danns and Hooper are very close to signing, but to be honest i would perfer Ambrose,so hope you are right.

I'm not all that keen on Ambrose. Hardly a terrible signing, but neither would Danns be.

Hooper's the one we want and need the most.

Things are looking up all of a sudden.
