Rest what case, if we have any intentions on the top 6 next season, none of the names are good enough. Just because Stead might be a tad bit better than the shizzer we already have means nothing.

Nothing to report around David Elm, my contact hadn't heard a thing. I told him tough, that QPR looks a lot more stable then 6 months ago, the manager is a top man and the ownership looks different. He'd promise to bring that to David in case there's something in this rumour.. I wasn't as positive during christmas.

As far as I know he's still in Holland but don't know about the team, I just follow the championship.. Won't even bother follow football here in Sweden, to cold winter so the pitches are just awful and the game worse than normal.

Stead is a lump with a bit of quality, he is however a 10 a season one. Need a couple of others with him and i would be OK with this signing.

I wouldn't be as blunt as that! - but that's pretty much how I see it too.

Warnock is trying to put a SQUAD together, not just buying players with good stats. It takes all sorts to make a squad.... fight, personality, character and ability.
Warnock knows that.

A few have been slating Clint Hill, for example. But I'd have him over Damien Stewart any day of the week.
Not because he's quicker, or technically better... but because he will run through brick walls for our manager, and doesn't have the attention span and concentration levels of a goldfish.

See who we sign, see who we sell... put them together in a team, give them a bit of time to gel, and then it's fair to make judgements on players/teams.
