My football aid experience and a few bits of info

I played at Loftus Road last night with fellow supporters for football aid and it was an amazing experience. Playing on the pitch especially alongside Birch and Steve Gallen (andy sinton failed to show). Game was a good one and finished 3-3. I had one great opportunity, ball rolled to me bout 15 yards out and i went for power instead of placement and scuffed it! I wasnt too happy about that! Rufus Brevett defo still has it btw. I recommend any fan to do this next year.

Now for a few bits of info i picked up from conversations and our mini tour. Dave Robertson, not sure if many on here know him, but he was in charge of us yesterday and he said he wants a lot more photos of the legends around the stadium and in the rooms. There is still a postcard sized photo of Flavio in the press room!! Hopefully that will be down soon. The 2nd division trophy will be coming to the club in august for the players entrance to accompany the league cup. We are switching subs benches again nxt season so Warnock is closer to the Loft, i am very happy with this decision. Bircham said we ideally need a new 11 but then again he said how we outplayed cardiff with what we had so it was difficult to really say but the amount of times he said we needed a quality strikeforce was funny!! Must have mentioned it about 5 times, he also said he looked at EVERY team in the league and thought they had better strikers than us, and yes he even meant plymouth and rory fallon lol

And he's right.
I was saying that after the game on sunday.
We don't have a forward line that is better than any team in this league, and it's weaker than almost everyone elses.

Simpson did well for a long spell, but he's just a kid on loan, who clearly ran out of steam.

Even the worst team in the whole league - Peterborough, had Aaron McClean and Mackail Smith.
Even they would have improved us a fair bit.

It's a long running joke, that needs sorting. Now.

unfortunately it will cost and to pull out of the beattie deal is a big mistake on ourbehalf. He is well worth 30k in wages and it would also show ambition. If you want quality you need to spend the money.

well played hermy wen u come on mate.a little bit of info i got is that clint hill was actually at the club yesterday along with another player but they wouldnt tell me who.clint hill is a defo signing and they expect more withing the next few weeks.they told us that flav hasnt been back at the club since he left and everyone is glad he is gone.u should see amits personal box its ridiculous lol

yeh i know.well he said to us they had a player there yesterday who throws a good right hook at fans from sheffied so it was kind of a give away but he wouldnt tell us who the other player was.with the info in the transfer budget for all i know he could be just wot he heard and not actual fact
