Who actually sells these tickets to oppo fans? Surely alarm bells must ring when people with Geordie accents who are not on the clubs database ring up for tickets. And if they can just be bought off the online ticketing then something needs to be done.
Next season we have potentially Pompey,Leeds and Millwall.

Not necessarily mate. If you still think he deserves a life ban or was the one in the wrong, then say so. You're entitled to an opinion, of course. I just think people tend to overhype anything to do with football related violence as it's deemed pointless in all cases...something I dissagree with. Sure, ****ting an innocent fan, just because he wears a different shirt to you is cowardly, but this particular incident had reason.

Take for instance you're out one night and some tw@t keeps hounding you for drinking a weak lager, or something silly like that. The guy then threatens you and wants to fight you. Be honest...are you going to whimper away (nowt wrong if you're not that type) or are you going to retalliate (again, nowt wrong if you're given reason)?!

I'd smack him in the mouth if I'm being honest. It's no different either. Same sittuation, only one's at football and the other not.

the sad fact as well is, the silver haired guy micheal is referring to, did NOT throw the punch that led this geordie to sail down 8 rows.

          get your facts straight fella.

            Thanks Benny .

I would not have reacted in the way our fan did , no. It isn't my style, especially when I have wife with me who I don't want to get hurt. I do think that our fan was in the wrong and of course the Geordies were completely out of order.

My issue is more with the after effects. If they want to meet outside and kick the cr*p out of each other than that is fine. Seeing kids terrified and crying isn't what our club is about. I expect that from other teams not QPR.

The people involved went crazy and didn't give any consideration to the people around them, which included many children.

I don't think any football game is worth seeing children crying from fear, no. I appreciate that it gets much worse at other clubs but this isn't another club, this is my club.

highgradeR, the silver haired guy is the one I saw giving it the big 'un. Does it really matter who threw the punch?

What gets me is the attitude of the Geordies who in there eyes think they can come to little old family club QPR and do as they please without being challenged.Bad enough sitting with the home fans then to find out you have some wearing the shirts in the home end is basically taking the p*ss out of us,and nobody likes to have the p*ss taken especially in your own back yard.

See, for those reasons, I completely understand your issue with this. Infront of women and young children is out of order, but in defence of the guy in question, anger can sometimes take control of your actions. Red mist sets in and rational thought goes out of the window. I used to be terrible for that in my teens and early 20's, but these days, thankfully I'm a lot calmer. Some people don't lose that, ever, but it doesn't make them a bad person. I'm honestly not trying to dress it up. Just trying to balance the arguement at well as I can. You share the same opinion as many mate, so you're not alone in this. I just think many of the nicest people you'll ever meet in life have this darker side to them. I know a few nasty, vicious people who in all honesty are also the kindest, most generous men I've had the pleasure of knowing. The type who'd do anything for you, yet you take the p**s out of them at your own peril.

                          You evil Homophobe!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
