  • Josh Parker

I thought this lad played well when he came on yesterday. Not sure of his proper position, thought he was a midfielder, but he looked a natural.

Overlapped superbly, and didn't look intimidated but the fact he was playing against the league champions.

He reminded me of Ryan Betrand at Reading( I know he's a left back), when coming forward, and he was their best player when we played them at their place.

Forget Volz or a palace alternative, give this lad a go!!

He could be one for the future for sure, might be a little too early to give him 1st place on the team sheet but sure I would like to see more of him next season :-)

He played well at Barnsley too. Would be a good back up to a proper right back next season.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Been great in the last two games he's played!

Would like to seem on the wing more next season at some point but he looks really promising! Just hope we get Balanta back soon, he was so good at the beginning of the season!

Anyone know what's happened to Balanta?

Josh Parker certainly has potential. I watched him closely at Barnsley last week, and when he came on yesterday. I have to say, his attitude seems first class, and already posesses no small amount of ability, we're lucky he's our player, IMO.

hes a winger/striker but giving him a go at right back is probably better than sticking him on the wing as the play is always in front of you and this will benefit him as you can read the game and see whats happening more.

looked very nippy yesterday. i felt romone rose also played well when he came on, not afraid to stick his body in there

Thought rose looked good having not seen him for sometime either!

Plus, Parker's throw from those at Barnsley? Tasty ;)
