Its a lovely place, plenty of good pubs, restaurants, lively nightlife and is central to alot of places such as Falmouth, Newquay, St Austell and is on the main trainline from London.

Don't stay in Newquay its a dump and full of chavvy northerners in the summer.
Did you live anywhere near helston/mullion region? Great place for a holiday. Go there every year

I lived in Camborne (dump) and Truro which is Mid Cornwall but not far, may move back down in Oct, not sure yet but if I do it will be to the Falmouth/Penryn area which is near Helston/Mullion.

I really love Cornwall and if it wasn't for the Rangers I could easily be living there now. There is no where better in the UK IMO, I can understand why Warnock wants to retire there.

Yeah totally agree. Went to Truro last year, nice place but easy to get lost Been to Falmouth loads of times....really nice place. The one negative I would say about the area is it is quite cut off and it takes an age to get everywhere!!! Like you say places like Newquay are a dump, fingers crossed we will stay away from there pre season. Should be good though!

Don't know how you got lost in Truro its a town of 25k lol.

Cornwall is cut off I agree but thats probably why its still so rich in culture and traditions. The problem is Cornwall needs a higher speed rail link, once you hit the Devon/Cornwall border the line snakes its way through the county. You can get flights from Gatwick and City Airport now for around £70 to Newquay and a Cab to Truro will cost about £25 on arrival.

Train route is good up until Exeter. Usually train it as it is still quicker, at least the scenery is pretty decent.

aint they got theyre own national anthem or suchlike ?
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

Own language, own political party with a membership of 50k and even their own terrorist organisation commonly refered to as the Ooo-Arr-Aaa

They want their own independance basically.

As the Cornish say 'There is no black in the Union Jack'

Truro City & St Austell would make good early pre-season matches, Plymouth on the Devon / Cornwall border not so far. No worse opposition than we played last year and maybe a couple of big friendlies in London, can't see what the issue is.

I hope they do come to Cornwall, since Plymouth selfishly got themselves relegated, my nearest game is Brizzle
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                                2015/2016, average at best.....

                                2016/2017, same old, same old....

                                2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!
